Columbus has now won 4 straight games and 8 out of 9.
The Blue Jackets were led by Charlie Coyle who had the hat trick.
Chicago had goals from Connor Bedard and Frank Nazar.
Spencer Knight had 22 saves for the Blackhawks.
Chicago will host San Jose on Monday night at the United Center.
