LaHood, Panetta Introduce Bill to Simplify Retirement Planning

WASHINGTON — Representatives Darin LaHood and Jimmy Panetta introduced a bipartisan bill last month to make retirement planning easier for Americans. The legislation would simplify 402(f) notices that explain distribution options and allow people 50 and older to roll over savings into annuities while still contributing to their 401(k), expanding options for guaranteed retirement income.
