Beloit Man Cited After Two Vehicle Crash In Stillman Valley

STILLMAN VALLEY — A 26-year-old Beloit, Wisconsin man was cited after a two-vehicle crash Friday morning at Illinois Route 72 and Rural Street in Stillman Valley. Deputies said the man was driving south on Rural Street around 9:30 a.m. when he allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by an eastbound SUV. The SUV driver was taken by Stillman Valley EMS to Swedish American Hospital in Rockford with non-life-threatening injuries. The Beloit man was arrested for driving without a valid license and cited for disobeying a traffic control device and driving without insurance before being released on a notice to appear.
