9th Street Closure Set For Utility Project in Rochelle

ROCHELLE – Beginning today, 9th Street in Rochelle will be closed for three days between 1st Avenue and Lincoln Avenue for an underground utility project, with the east sidewalk also closed while the west sidewalk remains open to pedestrians, and parking for the Rochelle Railroad Park available in the grass south of the BNSF tracks via the 1st Avenue entrance as drivers are advised to follow advance warning and detour signs while traveling in the area.
