White Sox Win Their 5th Straight Game As They Shutout San Diego 4-0

The Chicago White Sox won their 5th straight game Saturday night as they shutout the San Diego Padres 4-0.

Chicago has now won 10 out of their last 14 games.

Sean Burke allowed 4 hits and struck out 8 over 6 innings for his second win.

Seranthony Domingues got the final 2 outs in the game for his 8th save.

The Padres had loaded the bases in the 9th inning with no outs.

Miguel Vargas hit a 2-run single in the 6th inning for the win. The White Sox scored 2 more runs in the 7th inning .

The last time San Diego was shutout at home was May 31st of last season, a span of 69 games which was the longest active streak in the majors.

The White Sox go for the 3-game sweep Sunday afternoon in San Diego.
