The IHSA announced the 2025 football schedules for high schools around the state on Friday.
The first week of the season begins on Thursday, August 28th and ends on Saturday, August 30th.
The Rochelle Hubs open up the season with a home game on Friday, August 29th against Geneseo.
Other non-conference games include Chicago King, Lena-Winslow, and Waterloo.
Other area opening games include:
Thursday, August 28th Byron at Rock Falls
Friday, August 29th Marengo at Stillman Valley
Oregon at Genoa-Kingston
AFC at West Prairie/Southeastern
Lena-Winslow at Forreston
Bushnell-Prairie City at Polo
The State Championship Games will be played on November 28th and 29th at Illinois State University in Normal.
