ROCHELLE – A Small Business Bingo fundraiser Tuesday evening at The Flight Deck Bar and Grill in Rochelle raised $7,180 for Hope of Ogle County and Shining Star Children’s Advocacy Center. Organizer Ashley Patrick of AP Massage Therapy said the events bring people together for an enjoyable evening while supporting local organizations.
“So it’s fun for me to see people just kind of chatting up with their groups, getting a table with their friends and family, and just coming together, they get really excited,” Patrick said.
The next fundraiser will be held Thursday, Dec. 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Flight Deck, 1207 W. Gurler Road in Rochelle. The family friendly event will benefit the Hub City Senior Center and Ogle County Habitat for Humanity. Admission is $15 per person and includes 10 rounds of bingo, with additional raffles available.
