ROCKFORD – A 56-year-old security guard is accused of sexually assaulting a teen outside a Rockford hospital. Prosecutors say Rufus Dismuke molested a teenage girl on Sunday in the parking lot of the former Mercyhealth Rockton campus on North Rockton Avenue. Dismuke is charged with criminal sexual assault, unlawful use of weapons by a felon, criminal sexual abuse and grooming. He has prior convictions for domestic battery and possession of a firearm.
