Rochelle Police Offer Child Safety Seat Checks During Car Seat Safety Week

ROCHELLE – The Rochelle Police Department is offering child safety seat installations and inspections during Car Seat Safety Week from September 20th to 26th, with services available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Appointments can be scheduled with Community Service Officer Dickson or families may stop by during those hours based on availability, as police encourage caregivers to make sure children are properly secured while riding in vehicles and to review additional car seat safety guidance from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
