Rochelle Police Department Honors Officers Of The Year

ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Police Department has recognized three employees for their work in traffic safety, DUI enforcement and emergency communications. Officer Adam Witt was named the 2025 Traffic Enforcement Officer of the Year for his efforts to reduce dangerous driving and prevent crashes through proactive enforcement and attention to detail, the department said.

Officer Justin Cone was named the 2025 DUI Enforcement Officer of the Year for his commitment to removing impaired drivers from the road and his work to improve roadway safety through enforcement activity.

Telecommunicator Gracie Kelchner was named the 2025 Telecommunicator of the Year for her calm response during emergencies, quick thinking and support for both officers and the public during critical calls. Police officials said each recipient played a key role in protecting the community and supporting daily operations at the department.
