ROCHELLE — The Flagg Township Museum is hosting a Cinco de Mayo event today from 1 to 4 p.m. with history displays and family activities highlighting local Hispanic heritage. Director Jan Devore said, “We’re going to have our Hispanic heritage history trunk on display. It was developed from an exhibit done in 2012. It features a lot of information about Hispanic connections in Rochelle, including religion, business and families. It was developed from an exhibit that was done several years ago.” Visitors can take part in crafts and view exhibits connected to the community’s history.
