Rochelle Municipal Utilities Receives Three National Public Power Awards

ROCHELLE – Rochelle Municipal Utilities has received three national awards from the American Public Power Association recognizing its performance in reliability and safety. The utility earned the Reliable Public Power Provider designation along with the Excellence in Reliability Award and the Safety Award. Officials said the honors reflect strong performance in system reliability, workplace safety, workforce development, and ongoing improvements. The awards are based on industry data and performance standards used to evaluate public power utilities across the country. Rochelle Municipal Utilities was among a select group of providers to receive multiple recognitions in the same year.
