The Rays rallied with 3 runs in the 9th inning Thursday to beat the White Sox 5-3 to secure a sweep in the Windy City. Junior Caminero and Richie Palacios each collected two hits and an RBI for Tampa Bay, while Taylor Walls drove in a pair of runs in the victory.
Kevin Kelly picked up the win in relief and Bryan Baker locked down his fourth save. The Rays have won six games in a row to improve to 11-and-7 this season.
Miguel Vargas and Everson Pereira each went deep in the Chicago setback. Seranthony Dominguez blew his second save and got the loss. The White Sox have lost eight of their last 10 games to fall to 6-and-13 on the year.
The White Sox play the A’s on Friday night in West Sacramento.
