DEKALB — RAMP Disability Resources & Services says it will launch a Mobile Career Simulation Lab after receiving a $5,500 Spring 2026 Community Needs Grant from the DeKalb County Community Foundation. The funding will support equipment, training materials, portable storage systems and supplies for a workforce readiness program serving youth and adults with disabilities in DeKalb County. The program will offer simulated job training in areas such as retail, hospitality, office support, food service and manufacturing, with sessions held in community locations and at RAMP’s DeKalb office to build workplace skills and confidence. RAMP officials say local employer partners will help align training with real world job expectations and workforce needs.
