June Observed as National Safety Month

ITASCA, Ill. — June is recognized as National Safety Month to promote education and awareness around preventable injuries and deaths. The observance is organized by the National Safety Council. The month-long initiative focuses on weekly safety topics such as emergency preparedness, hazard recognition, and preventing slips, trips, and falls.
