MT. MORRIS — The ninth annual Encore! PorchFest Mt. Morris will return Saturday, June 13, with 16 musical acts performing free 45 minute sets on porches and lawns throughout the festival area from 1 to 5 p.m. The event will feature a variety of music including classic rock, folk, country, bluegrass, Americana, pop, blues and original songs as visitors move between performance locations in downtown Mt. Morris. Organizers encourage attendees to bring lawn chairs, walk or bike between venues, and enjoy food from local vendors. Three performers will make their PorchFest debut this year.
Encore Mt. Morris Chair Jeff Bold said, “Porch Fest is literally freely given music on porches. We have 16 bands and or musicians, some of them are solos, some of them are duets, some of them are a full band, that will be playing live on porches.”
