National Women’s Health Week Observed May 10–16

WASHINGTON —  National Women’s Health Week is observed May 10 through May 16 to raise awareness of steps women can take to improve their health. The observance is organized by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office on Women’s Health. The initiative encourages women and girls to make their health a priority by scheduling annual well-woman visits, maintaining a balanced diet, and staying active to reduce the risk of chronic conditions such as heart disease and diabetes.
