Malta Days Festival Returns June 20–22 with Music, Carnival, and Fireworks

The Malta Days Festival will take place June 20–22 at Lions Park in Malta, offering live music, carnival rides, food vendors, and a beer garden throughout the weekend. Events include a pancake breakfast, 5K run, car show, craft fair, and family-friendly activities like a bubble experience and a special animal meet-and-greet.

Debbie Lang with the Malta Days Committee said it will be very unique.

“One of the greatest things that I think is going to happen is on Saturday at 2 o’clock. We actually have a sloth that is coming to the festival that is from Animal Quest and they will talk about sloths and their natural environment,” she said. “Everyone will get to see a real sloth and they will get to take pictures with it.”

Evening entertainment features multiple bands and a fireworks show Saturday at 9:30 p.m. The festival wraps up Sunday with more music and carnival fun. Admission to most activities is free, and more information is available at MaltaDaysFestival.com.
