The Chicago Cubs scored 4 runs in the 7th inning Tuesday night as they beat the San Diego Padres 8-3 which ends a 3-game losing streak.

Pete Crow-Armstrong hit s 3-run home run in the 7th inning for the Cubs.

Dansby Swanson and Nico Hoerner each had 2-run doubles.

Edward Cabrera pitched into the 5th inning to get the win.

Xander Bogaerts had a solo home run for the Padres.

The rubber game in the 3-game series will be played Wednesday afternoon in San Diego.
