Illinois National Guard Band To Perform In Sandwich

SANDWICH — The Illinois National Guard’s 144th Army Band will perform a free Independence Day concert Sunday, July 5, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Sandwich Opera House, 140 E. Railroad St. The performance is one of three concerts the band is presenting across Illinois to celebrate Independence Day. The 144th Army Band serves as the musical unit of the Illinois Army National Guard and performs at military ceremonies, parades, public concerts, and community events throughout the state.
