DeKalb Receives National Award For Financial Reporting

DEKALB — The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada has awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to the City of DeKalb for its annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024. Officials said the report was judged by an impartial panel and met high standards for clear financial reporting and full disclosure. The award is the highest recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting and reflects a significant accomplishment by the city and its management.
