DEKALB – The DeKalb County Health Department will hold a Naloxone training session at the DeKalb Public Library on Friday, May 1, 2026. The event is scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM.
This community training session is designed to teach residents how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and how to properly administer Naloxone, a life-saving medication that can reverse overdose effects. The training typically takes 20 to 30 minutes to complete.
Health officials encourage community members to attend and gain these essential life-saving skills.
