Nico Hoerner led Chicago with a home run, 2 singles, and 5 RBI. Dansby Swason also had a home run and Matt Shaw hit 3 doubles and drove in 2 runs.
Shota Imanga got the win working 6 innings and striking out 11 hitters.
Trea Turner and Bryce Harper had home runs for the Phillies.
The Cubs will be at Wrigley Field on Friday afternoon opening up a series with the New York Mets.
