(Sacramento, CA) — The Chicago White Sox homered four times on the way to a 7-4 victory over the Athletics in the finale of a three-game series in Sacramento. Derek Hill, Colson Montgomery, Munetaka Murakami and Miguel Vargas each homered and combined for six RBIs to lead Chicago at the plate.
Starting pitcher Noah Schultz earned his first career win after tossing five innings of one-run ball. Seranthony Dominguez recorded his fourth save as the White Sox improved to 8-and-14.
Darell Hernaiz hit a solo homer for the A’s while Zack Gelof drove-in a pair of runs. Starting pitcher Jeffrey Springs was tagged with his first loss as the A’s fell to 11-and-11.
White Sox continue their road trip Tuesday night in Arizona against the Diamondbacks.
