POLO – Residents will have an opportunity to donate blood Tuesday, November 3, at Crossroads Church of Polo, 205 N. Jefferson Ave. The Rock River Valley Blood Center will hold the drive from 1 to 5:30 p.m. Blood donations are needed to help hospitals care for patients undergoing surgery, receiving cancer treatment or recovering from emergencies.
Maggie Anderson, donor recruiter with the Rock River Valley Blood Center, said, “A steady blood supply depends on people being willing to donate when they can. Taking time to give blood can provide lifesaving support to patients and their families.”
