Cubs Score 2 Runs In The 9th Inning And Beat The Rockies 5-4

The Chicago Cubs scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th inning Monday night and beat the Colorado Rockies 5-4.

The winning run came on a bases loaded walk to Matt Shaw.

The Cubs had tied the game earlier in the inning on a RBI single by Pedro Ramirez.

Pete Crow-Armstrong had 4 hits and 2 RBI in the game which included a solo home run for Chicago.

The Rockies had taken a 4-2 lead in the 8th inning on a 3-run home run by Cole Carrigg.

Daniel Palencia got the win in relief for Cubs.

Game 2 in the series is Tuesday night at Wrigley Field.
