CRESTON — The Village of Creston plans to begin replacing a water main on South West Street near the subdivision today, weather permitting. Water service will be shut off while affected homes are connected to the new main, resulting in a boil order for residents on South Beck Road and South West Street. The first three homes on Regulators Street near Creston Road also may be affected. Village officials said residents could experience yellow water after the work is completed. The project is part of ongoing efforts to address long standing rust and sediment issues in the village water system.
