Raleigh, NC) — The Hurricanes are one win away from their first Stanley Cup title since 2006. Carolina took down the Vegas Golden Knights 4-2 in Game Five in Raleigh.
Andrei Svechnikov scored twice while Sebastian Aho and Jordan Staal also lit the lamp for Carolina. Staal has scored in every game this series and has six goals in the past five games.
Brandon Bussi stepped up in net once again with 22 saves and the Canes now hold a 3-2 series lead.
Pavel Dorofeyev scored both of Vegas’ goals in the road loss.
The Stanley Cup Final resumes Sunday when the Golden Knights play host the Hurricanes in Sin City.
