Aquin Catholic Academy in Freeport Closing

FREEPORT —  Aquin Catholic Academy in Freeport is closing this week.  The Diocese of Rockford announced the final day of classes is Friday.  The closure follows a review by a special task force, as well as years of declining enrollment and financial challenges at the school.
