Rochelle Will Spray for Mosquitoes Before Holiday Weekend

ROCHELLE – The City of Rochelle Public Works Department will spray for mosquitoes from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1 through Thursday, July 3, depending on the weather. The spraying will cover all areas inside city limits using a product called ANVIL 2+2 ULV at a rate of about 1 ounce per acre. This is being done to lower the number of mosquitoes before the busy holiday weekend.
