CHICAGO – Illinois is launching a new initiative designed to strengthen reproductive healthcare across the state. The Prairie State Access Fund aims to ensure continued access for both Illinois residents and others from across the country seeking abortion care. The program will connect donor support with organizations protecting and expanding reproductive health access in the state. Officials say Illinois is one of the few states in the Midwest that offers widespread access to comprehensive reproductive healthcare.
