DeKalb Council Approves Five-Year CDBG Development Plan

DEKALB – The City Council has greenlit the 2026-2030 CDBG Consolidated Plan, prioritizing nearly $780,000, including $400,000 in new federal funds, for housing rehabilitation, public facility upgrades, and services for low-income and special-needs populations. The plan, which followed a 30-day public review, will be finalized once HUD confirms the official grant totals later this year.
