Illinois Unemployment Up Slightly

SPRINGFIELD —  Illinois’ unemployment rate is up slightly.  The state Department of Employment Security says the state’s jobless rate in December increased point-two-percent from November to 4.6%.  Non-farm payroll jobs jumped by nearly 12,000.
