A jersey retirement ceremony for former Bulls star Derrick Rose is scheduled to take place Saturday night at the United Center. The ex-NBA star’s number 1 jersey will be lifted into the rafters of the arena. The event will take place following the game against the Boston Celtics.
The Bulls selected Rose as the number one overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft. He won the Rookie of the Year in 2008 then became the youngest MVP Iin league history in 2010, winning the award at age 22.
