Veterans Assistance Commission of Ogle County Seeks More Active Members

OREGON — The Veterans Assistance Commission of Ogle County reported 1,126 participants in the county system and $17,397 in December expenses, including driver tolls and mileage, during a recent meeting. Superintendent Luz Maria Gilkey, Veteran Service Officer, shared updates last week on personnel policies and financial assistance practices, while members discussed outreach to younger veterans, expanding meeting participation, and engaging local veteran organizations.
