OREGON – The Oregon City Council recognized Josh Pickering as the city’s 2025 Employee of the Year and named Lynn Baylor‑Zies, Cheryl Hilton, Aaron Montoya and Jordan Plock the 2025 Team of the Year during its Tuesday meeting. Council members highlighted the contributions of both the individual and team, noting their dedication and service to the community.
“Josh Pickering consistently exemplifies the highest standards of public service and taking care of all of us in the city and seeing things that are done correctly,” the mayor said. Regarding the team, the mayor added, “It requires collaboration, professionalism, dedication, and a service to the city. Over the past year, this group has navigated complex challenges while maintaining a positive solution-based result.”
