Dylan Manning of Rochelle remains in the hospital following surgery this week.
The junior football and baseball player had cranioplasty on his head this past Wednesday. This involved a 3-D printed plastic for his scalp.
Dylan had brain surgery last October after being injured in the football game with Morris.
He was able to take a walk on the floor on Friday. Manning will remain in the ICU at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood until his drain is removed.
Dylan has been home since late November recovering from his first surgery.
