Congratulations goes out to Byron Head Football Coach Jeff Boyer who has been named Chicago Bears Coach of the Year.
The Tigers won the Class 3A State Championship last month with a record of (14-0).
The award recognizes Boyer’s outstanding leadership, commitment to the student athletes, and the culture of excellance in the program.
Boyer recently had lunch at Halas Hall and was able to watch the Bears practice. He along with representatives from the state championship team were also introduced at the Bears game last Sunday with the Cleveland Browns.
