Ex-John Deere Foundation Executive Sues Over Discrimination And Retaliation

MOLINE –  A former John Deere Foundation executive is accusing Deere and Company of gender-based pay discrimination and retaliation.  Former Foundation Vice President Laura Eberlin filed a federal lawsuit claiming in March of last year, Foundation President Nathan Clark resigned and she assumed most of his responsibilities.  However, she continued earning about 75-percent of his previous salary.  When asked for a pay raise, she was reassigned under a manager who was unqualified for the role.  Eberlin resigned in November 2024 after months of conflict and unsuccessful attempts to secure a pay increase.
