LaHood To Head Up Edgar Fellow Program In Illinois 

CHAMPAIGN —  Former U.S. Congressman and Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood is set to head up the Edgar Fellows program in the state.  The program was founded by former Illinois Governor Jim Edgar in 2012 and helps future leaders in the state learn more about public policy.  The Edgar Fellows work closely with the University of Illinois.  LaHood served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1995 to 2009 and was Transportation Secretary under former President Barack Obama.
