The Colorado Avalanche extended their winning streak to 9 games on Sunday night as they beat the Chicago Blackhawks 1-0 at the United Center.
Scott Wedgewood made 22 saves for the Avalanche. Cale Makar scored the only goal in the game which came in the second period.
The Blackhawks have now lost 3 games in a row. Spencer Knight had 25 saves for Chicago.
The Blackhawks will be back at the United Center on Wednesday against Minnesota.
