Nine DeKalb Retailers Cited in Tobacco Compliance Checks

DEKALB – The DeKalb Police Department conducted tobacco compliance checks on November 9th to ensure retailers follow laws prohibiting tobacco sales to minors. Of the 32 businesses inspected, nine were found in violation and issued ordinance citations for selling tobacco products to underage customers. The cited businesses include Rocky’s Mini Mart, Casey’s, Huskie’s Discount Liquor, Fas Mart, The Smoke Shop, Citgo, Dollar General, 7-11, and Marathon.
