Polo Christmas Festival Set for December 6

POLO – The Polo Christmas Festival will take place Saturday, December 6, with events throughout the day, including a reindeer run, Donuts with Santa, live music, a craft show, and family activities. The downtown area will host most activities from 4 to 7 p.m., and the craft show runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring 15 vendors so far. New this year, the Donuts with Santa event moves to Centennial to coincide with the craft show, and a kids’ craft area will be offered by Pine Creek Christian Church. The festival also features trolley tours by the Historical Society and the Parade of Lights leading to a 7 p.m. tree lighting with Santa arriving on a firetruck.

“Just it’s kind of wonderful to see everyone gathered downtown as we light up the tree, welcome Santa,” Megan White said, describing her favorite festival tradition.

Booth applications are open through November 21 and information is available on the Polo Christmas Festival Facebook page or by emailing polochristmasfestival@gmail.com.
