The MLB Wild Card playoff schedule is set for the White Sox and Cubs.
The Northsiders open their series Tuesday night against the Padres in San Diego. Game time is 9 pm Central. Game Two is also at 9pm in San Diego. If needed Game Three will be at Petco Park.
Matthew Boyd will start Game 1 for the Cubs.
Meanwhile, the White Sox face the Astros Tuesday afternoon in Houston. Game time is 4 p.m. Central. Game Two is set for Wednesday and if necessary, Game three will be played on Thursday in Houston.
Rookie left hander Hagen Smith will start for the White Sox.
