ROCHELLE — A small business bingo event will be held Thursday, Nov. 6, at Flight Deck Bar & Grill at 1207 W. Gurler Road from 6 to 8 p.m. to raise funds for the Rochelle VFW and the Community Action Network holiday shopping program. Doors open at 5 p.m. for bingo, and entry and raffle tickets are cash only. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

“I started this to bring people together to do good for our community, and as long as people want to come, I’ll keep doing it,” she said.
The event is the first of two bingo nights this year, with a second event planned for Dec. 2 to support Shining Star Children’s Advocacy and HOPE of Ogle County.
