Byron Sewer Lining Work Set To Resume Sept. 28

BYRON – Sewer lining work in Byron is expected to resume the week of Sept. 28 in the Hamer Court area. City officials said crews will notify affected property owners before work begins, and temporary sewer service interruptions may occur as the pipes are lined. Pre lining video inspections did not show any major pipe failures that would require sections to be dug up and replaced. The project includes sewer mains and manholes along All Saints Drive and Hamer Court and is expected to take about a week once crews return. City officials also said work on the city’s 2026 street projects is continuing, with some removals completed and concrete work underway. Milling and resurfacing are expected to begin within the next few weeks, with the work possibly finished by late September or early October.
