Kingston Man Faces Additional Charges in Drug, Theft, and Explosives Case

KINGSTON — James J. Hall of Kingston remains in the DeKalb County Jail after deputies executing a search warrant at his Hagen Drive home recovered stolen property, a large amount of a controlled substance, and suspected homemade explosive devices earlier this month. The 38-year-old now faces additional felony charges including four counts of theft and four counts of unlawful possession of explosives, on top of previous charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. The Kane County Bomb Squad removed the suspected devices, and investigators continue to identify the recovered items as the case remains under investigation.
