Glen Mehrings
The RTHS golf program held their annual awards night on Wednesday in the commons area.
18 boys and 2 girls received recognition for this past season.
The Hubs finished with a record of (11-1) in match play and a second place finish in the Interstate 8 Conference Tournament.
Senior Ian Metzger was named the MVP for the third time which is a school record.
Junior Connor Lewis received the most improved award. Lewis qualified for the Class 2A State Golf Tournament.
This is also the final year for head coach Glen Mehrings who has been in the program for 32 years at RTHS. Mehrings was head coach for 31 years.
