DeKalb Police Seek Donations for Heroes and Helpers Event

DEKALB — The DeKalb Police Department and Target will host the annual “Heroes and Helpers” event on December 7 to provide holiday gifts for local children in need. The program pairs DeKalb police officers with children from DeKalb School District 428 or DeKalb residents to shop for $100 worth of gifts. Donations to support the event can be made payable to the DeKalb PB & PA and sent to the DeKalb Police Department, 700 W. Lincoln Highway, by November 14, Attention: Heroes & Helpers.
