RTHS Board Reviews Academic and Curriculum Updates


ROCHELLE – Rochelle Township High School reviewed academic progress and curriculum initiatives at its Monday night board meeting. Principal Dr. Christopher Lewis highlighted the second year of Pre-ACT 8 testing for all feeder schools, Teacher Communication Week with 350 parent contacts, and an AI-focused Institute Day for staff. Upcoming events include Make a Difference Day and a Veterans Day assembly. The Rochelle Township High School Board of Education also approved the hiring of Anthony Powell as a paraprofessional and adopted an updated non-certified employee handbook during its October 20th meeting. The handbook, reviewed internally and legally, will be for non-certified staff across the district.
